These test strips can be used by people who have an active UTI and want to see if the Goodbye UTI supplements that they are taking have cleared it up.

They can also be used to monitor the UTI status of seniors who are often “asymptomatic” and are not aware that they have a UTI. An undetected UTI can quickly turn into a serious kidney infection or sepsis and hospitalization.
What are Goodbye UTI Test Strips?
The Goodbye UTI Test Strips provide three tests, and are more reliable than the typical two-test strips you can purchase in a drugstore. In addition to testing for the presence of bacteria in the urine with the leukocytes and nitrites tests, our strips also test for pH levels.
Checking your pH level is important because it indicates whether your urine is “friendly” or “unfriendly” to bacteria that might enter your bladder.
Note: these strips will let you know if bacteria are present in the urine. They do not indicate what type of bacteria is present, for example E. Coli or Klebsiella Pneumoniae. To obtain this level of information you would need to have your urine sample sent off to a lab where a culture would be grown.

Here’s What the Three Tests Indicate*
These indicators are most predictive of E. Coli UTI's which represent over 75% of all UTIs.
· Leukocytes: the first test shows whether leukocytes are present in your urine; leukocytes are white blood cells; a positive result typically indicates an inflammation somewhere in your system
· Nitrites: the second test shows the presence of nitrites in your urine; a positive result most commonly means there's a bacterial infection in your urinary tract
· pH level: the third test measures how alkaline or acidic your urine is, which will signal whether bacteria can thrive there or not.
Here’s How to Understand the Test Results*
Simply compare your results on the test strip to the results on the label on the side of the bottle that they came in.
You do have an E. Coli UTI if: both Leukocytes and Nitrites are positive.*
You do not have an E. Coli UTI if: both Leukocytes and Nitrites are negative
You have inconclusive results if: Leukocytes are positive and Nitrites are negative. The positive Leukocytes may indicate an infection elsewhere in your body, but not in the bladder; and the negative Nitrites may indicate that non-E. Coli bacteria are present. Consult your doctor.*
You are at risk of a UTI if: your urine pH level is above 7 or below 5, indicating that your urine is receptive to bacteria. The ideal pH level is between 6 and 7.*
