The Goodbye-UTI Test Strips allow you to monitor your urinary tract right at home, just as you would do at the doctor’s office.

 Three Tests

• Leukocytes: the first test shows whether leukocytes are present in your urine; leukocytes are white blood cells; a positive result typically indicates an inflammation somewhere in your system
• Nitrites: the second test shows the presence of nitrites in your urine; a positive result most commonly means there's a bacterial infection in your urinary tract
• pH level: the third test measures how alkaline or acidic your urine is, which will signal whether bacteria can thrive there or not.

Easy To Read Results

Simply compare your results on the test strip to the results on the label on the side of the bottle that they came in.

You have a UTI if: both Leukocytes and Nitrites are positive 

You do not have a UTI if: only Leukocytes are positive; this indicates that there is inflammation elsewhere in your system, but not in the urinary tract. 

You are at risk of a UTI if: your urine pH level is above 7.5 or below 5, indicating that your urine is receptive to bacteria.  The ideal pH level is between 6 and 7. 

Test Strips do not indicate what type of bacteria is present, for example E. Coli or Klebsiella Pneumoniae.  To obtain this level of information you would need to have your urine sample sent to a lab where a culture would be grown.
